Independence Day Celebrations – Main block

India’s 77th Independence Day celebrates a journey of unity and progress. The assembly was conducted by 12E. The programmes covered India’s journey to independence, featuring presentations on how India, since 1947, has achieved milestones in economic growth, space exploration, healthcare, and education. It also featured amazing dance sequences that captivated the audience. The class choir sang patriotic songs that added fervour to the event. The assembly showcased how, despite diverse cultures and regional identities, India remains unified through its democratic framework and shared national festivals. Each student’s hard work was evident in the seamless execution of the event. The class assembly highlighted the collective effort and creativity, reflecting the spirit of unity and celebration.There was exceptional teamwork and dedication in making the celebration a success. Through coordinated efforts, each student contributed his/her best, ensuring that the assembly was informative and inspiring. Our Director, Rev.Fr.Poulose Kidangen CMI, gave the message of unity and togetherness. Our Principal, Mrs. Ruby Antony, spoke of the history of the freedom fighters who have worked towards the struggle for our freedom.

There was a patriotic song competition, where the four houses enthralled the audience. A prize-giving ceremony, added gusto to the occasion, where students were awarded a certificate and trophy for the different inter-school cultural and sports competitions.

It was indeed  a memorable day.
