In the wake of the recent tragedy in Wayanad, Rajagiri Public School extended a helping hand to Vellarmala GVHSS by contributing books to their school library. As part of this initiative, our school, in collaboration with H&C, Mathrubhumi, DC Books and Kerala State Bookmark organized a three-day book sale to raise funds and facilitate this contribution.

The book sale took place from the 23rd to the 25th of September at the Chavara Block quadrangle. The event provided an excellent opportunity for students to purchase books at discounted rates, fostering a spirit of charity. The event was organized in a structured manner, with students from different grade levels visiting on separate days:

• Classes 1 to 4 had their turn on 23rd September.

• Classes 5 to 8 visited on 24th September.

• Classes 9 to 12 participated on the 25th September.

The students eagerly participated in the event, showcasing great enthusiasm and excitement. Their involvement not only reflected their passion for books but also their commitment to supporting a noble cause. Overall, the program was a great success, with many books sold and significant funds raised for the benefit of the Vellarmala GVHSS library. The collective efforts of the school community, along with the support from H&C, Mathrubhumi, DC Books and Kerala State Bookmark made this event both memorable and impactful.
