The Department of English recently organized a vibrant and engaging one-day event, aptly named “Once Upon an Ordinary School Day.” This event proved to be a delightful experience for students from grades 1 to 7, bringing together various activities to enrich their learning journey.The event spanned across six different venues, each offering a unique and immersive experience for the participants. The activities included games, music, drama, a fashion show, word games, puppetry, and color-related games.

All students from grades 1 to 7 actively participated in the event, rotating through two different venues. This ensured that each student had a well-rounded experience, gaining exposure to multiple aspects of the English language and literature.

A notable feature of the event was the emphasis on hands-on experience. Students actively engaged in the various activities. This approach not only made learning enjoyable but also promoted a deeper connection with the content.

As a token of appreciation and a reminder of the event, students were presented with handmade takeaway gifts.
